The court heard Mr Porritt had been en route to meet his better half and her dad on 9 July last year when Morgan told spectators, "this isn't a dread assault, I just need him" and charged at him.
The person in question, who had never met his assailant, experienced serious wounds as he attempted to safeguard himself, including bone-profound cuts to his head and leg, and a to some degree cut off right hand.
He told the Old Bailey: " I truly thought he planned to kill me, he just wouldn't stop. He was tireless. He said he didn't need any other individual, he simply needed me. He was focused with me.
"I don't have any idea how I got away. I was frightened I planned to lose my little finger and I maintained a level of control. I recently knew, survival. I just got as far away as possible. It resembled a charge, individuals were frightened."
