A dozen children tell a deputy responding to another Lorincz complaint in an April bodycam interview that she had repeatedly been "aggressive," yelling racial and profane words at them. The deputy is informed by a 10-year-old girl who is combing the hair of her mermaid Barbie that Lorincz referred to the neighborhood children as the n-word; a more seasoned young lady says the lady had additionally referred to them as "sex slave rats." According to the arrest affidavit, Owens' son told police after the June shooting that Lorincz had previously told him, "This isn't the underground railroad, slave."
Lorincz told deputies in February 2022 that Owens had hit her with a sign.
Owens doesn't deny to two representatives that she had tossed the sign, the bodycam film shows, however she rejects that it hit Lorincz. " Owens asserts, "She has the sign, and she's basically ramming the sign in my face." Owens tells the deputies, "I picked the sign up, and I threw the sign" after Lorincz put it down.
A neighbor asks to speak with the deputies who are talking to Lorincz during one of the police visits in April, and the video shows “no trespassing” signs in a field behind him. In the police video, the man says, "She keeps calling [the police] every time, over stupidity — literally kids going around." The community shared the grass field and other areas where the children had been playing because Lorincz did not own her duplex apartment.
The neighbor talked with in April said Lorincz would get in her vehicle and fire up it in reprisal when youngsters and woofing canines annoyed her. Different neighbors let representatives know that Lorincz would leave her truck close to regions where the youngsters were playing and would set off her vehicle caution.
